Hello, my name is Emerson Galeas, and I have been a Houston native my entire life. I went to school at Kingwood Lone Star Campus.
As the hygienist, my goal is to create lasting relationships with our patients, as well as working together with them as a team toward optimal oral health. I understand the dental chair can be a stressful. I try to make sure that every patient gets a chance to relax in hopes that I can slightly better that poor perception of the dentist office.
Education is one of the most important roles of a dental hygienist. It is quite important to me that my patients do not feel lectures or nagged. Instead, patients should be well informed of the condition of their oral health, how it can affect their overall physical health, and how to maintain healthy teeth, and gums. Dental visits can be a comfortable and positive experience and I work tirelessly to achieve this with my personal approach.
I look forward to welcoming you to our dental family!
Registered Dental Assistant
Hi. My name is Dominique Johnson. I was originally born in California, but have then moved to Texas. I am from the North Houston / Cypress / Spring area. I have lived here all my life. I graduated from Klein Forest High School in 2006. My first job was at Greystone Montessori School. I loved working with children. I found their personalities, imaginations, their “fearlessness” to be very interesting and rewarding to work with. At age eighteen, I decided to pursue the field of dentistry. I attended Everest Institute for dental assisting school. I began my internship after graduation and found that dentistry was the place for me. I began working with Dr. Ahmed in 2010 and enjoyed growing as an assistant with her. During my spare time, I like to color and sketch, love astrology, oceanography, and watching movies. My philosophy is “treat people and children how you want to be treated.” Even as adults, we get nervous and we have anxieties. I do not want an adult or a child, in my presence, to have a negative aura about dentistry. I like to change the world one smile at a time.
I like to color and sketch. I love astrology, oceanography, having cinematic adventures, and working with children. There is nothing in the world more gratifying than seing a child happy and smile at the dental office. I do not have children of my own, yet I do have three younger siblings (14,10,5) and they are so much fun! My philosophy is “treat people and children how you want to be treated.” Even as adults, we get nervous and we have anxieties. So I don’t want anyone in my presence to feel these negative auras. But my objective in this life is to change the world one smile at a time, from child to adult. At the end of the day if I get smiles with a happy appointment I know my job has been done. Well, thank you for taking time out your day to read what I have to say; but now I have to get back to my coloring book! See you soon!
Registered Dental Assistant
Hello, my name is Jessica. I grew up in a very small town in Matagorda County and have lived in Texas my whole life. I graduated from Tidehaven High School in 2015. I moved to The Woodlands shortly after graduation, and I started working at a retail store. I was introduced to the field of dentistry thru a good friend of mine. I immediately fell in love with the dental profession and found it very interesting. I continued my education at Brightwood College and graduated as a registered dental assistant. I enjoy making people smile and restoring beautiful smiles. When I am not working in the office, my past time is spent with my family: I have two beautiful children, a boy and a girl, whom I love dearly.
I look forward to being a team member of Village Park Family Dental and building long-lasting bonds with our patients. Please come and visit me soon!
