Full and/or Partial Dentures
Full dentures are built to replace a complete set of teeth. These can be used for the upper, lower, or both sets and are generally made to be removable. New techniques in dentistry, however, allow full dentures to be anchored permanently using implanted posts or bonding materials. In either case, the result is a more natural and healthy smile as well as more normal functionality for eating and speaking.
Partial dentures are, in effect, removable bridges prepared by the dentist to substitute for a limited number of missing teeth. These are constructed much like bridges but are removable. Whether partial or full dentures are prepared, the result helps patients maintain good oral health as well as a bright and beautiful smile.
